Josh Fox turned 19 on November 30th (which was an awesome time with a disco ball, music, broken chairs, and approximately 30 of our students) and is from Roswell, GA, about 2 miles from my house. We were actually both in the same preschool class (My mom was very excited to share that with me once they recognized each other recently). I am dating Josh's cousin and have been blessed with the opportunity to be with his family and they are all awesome people. Josh never fails to pose for a picture, always two thumbs up. We love his laugh. He is becoming a pretty solid basketball player. I can't stand that he's barely taller than me because when we play football my advantage is gone.
Josh is an amazing guy, and an amazing help in the classroom. He and I teach 26 6th and 7th graders. He will grade, check, and help the majority of our kids' paces while I give tests and annoy them by telling them to work, telling them they have to do ALL of their work to go outside, giving them demerits for disobeying, telling them to be quiet, telling them they failed, telling them to be quiet, telling them why hitting each other is wrong, telling them to be quiet, and telling them they can't go to the bathroom for a third time since our last break. He is by far the fun teacher, and I love him for it. Our kids love him in and out of the classroom, they ask for help just to be around him. I love having him in our class. When he isn't there the kids and I all have a worse day, and I leave with a headache. He is always willing to do whatever I ask of him whether it is making copies, watching the class, grading or helping, or giving bible study. He is always to the point. The other day he had a student read where Jesus walks on water for bible study, then he got up and said, "So Jesus walked on water. That's pretty cool. Who wants to pray?". Maybe he could explain a little more but I thought it was awesome. Please pray for Josh, pray that God uses him and blesses him for how much he has served me and our kids.
